Photography Classes

I’ve completed my first photography classes for beginners

The classes were at Lee Mount Baptist Church on Wednesdays and Kings Coffee House on Saturdays for 8 weeks and were 2 and a half hours.
Reports have been coming in of how much my students enjoyed it and that they’d learned many things about their camera and how to use them to take better photographs

A lot of people have said that they did not know about the classes and would like to attend the next ones, so I have scheduled my next classes for May 2016 which will be 4 weekly classes of 5 hours held at Kings Coffee House on Saturday afternoons

Check out the Courses page on my website where there are places now available if you’d like to learn how to take better photographs with your camera

Photography for Beginners is a hit

Today was class 4 of 8 in my Photography for Beginners at Lee Mount Baptist Church, Halifax, with new students joining each week

My students are enjoying it and say they will be sad when it comes to an end… I’m taking this as a huge compliment

Saturday 30th Jan 2016, will be a repeat class at Kings Coffee House, Halifax

There are still places available if you’d like to learn how to take better photographs with your camera

DSLR Skills 2012

Welcome to a new term for Digital SLR Skills students! Whether you’ve followed our free photo course before or are planning to give it a go for the very first time this year, our aim is simply to help you improve your photography.

We’ll do this by taking you on a journey that steers you through the basics of photography and helps you get creative too. You can use it as a refresher course for skills you already have or as a means to unlock some of the secrets still hidden within your digital SLR.

Over the last few years I know that many of you have benefited from the Digital SLR Skills course because its structured learning helps you understand all the important techniques needed to take consistently good photos. We also set you regular practical exercises to hammer home all the points you’ll be covering.

To take part fully you need to sign-up using the link. By doing this you’ll be sent special monthly learning videos that will reinforce all the skills you’ll be mastering, and of course you’ll be able to upload the images you take for each module to the student galleries. If you complete the course, you’ll also get a special Digital SLR Skills certificate to show you’ve passed.

The course starts next month, so sign-up now and be ready in time for the start.

Go on, make 2012 the year you take your photography to the next level!
